This book is a great simple to follow lesson in how you can improve your chances to keep your hard earned money in your pocket and still get a great car. I've only had to buy one car in my 46 years, and I thought I did pretty good, but now I see here how I could have done better. I love that they put together a worksheet for buying both a new and a used car that can make the purchasing process even simpler. As a woman, I still feel like I get railroaded in this male dominated field so anything to give myself the ammunition to knock out annoying salesmen is definitely worth more than the $5.99 for this book!Product details

a car. I feel like I now have insider information on how the dealerships operate and what the salespeople think and see when one of us walks onto the lot! The format is really accessible so if you don't want to read it from beginning to end, you can easily find sections that relate to your interests. They've thought of everything! I would recommend this book to anyone thinking about buying a new or used car!

It helps the reader to utilize the information provided by including check sheets for the prospective buyer to use while at the dealership. A prepared buyer can then stay ahead of the sales people to the end of the sale. I recommend this book strongly for anyone who intends to buy a new or used car in the future. I hate having to dicker and deal and play power games to buy something, but at least with Drive the Deal I'll be dealing from a position of power and knowledge. Until I read this book, I hadn't realized just how many ways car dealers stack the deck against car buyers, let alone what I can do to fight back and not get taken. I mean, I'm going to be spending thousands of dollars on the car, but if I can make a few thousand end up in my pocket and not the dealer's, that's a good thing and it's well worth the cost of this e-book that teaches me how.

Hey, this is a GREAT book to have, even if you are not presently looking to buy. These methods by sales people are not likely to change, perhaps just the terminology.
It is definitely a primer for first time car buyers, AND a wake-up call for those who smugly say they can handle a care salesman.
The checklists are a great idea. It is YOUR Quality Control that you CAN save money and not get ripped off.
Educate yourself on the tricks dealerships use to take your money. Excellent worksheets included in the back of the book to help.
